The Above Domain - Knowledge from upon high!

With the recent confirmation from Activision that Infinity Ward are working on new DLC for the smash-hit COD4 (No surprises there) we also hear that the upcoming Xbox 360 patch is currently in certification and will be with us soon. No doubt everyone has their own hopes and preferences for any new map content but if some sources are to be beleived three of the first maps due soon will already be familiar to people who have completed the single player campaign. The following images have surfaced which are purported to be of the multiplayer loading screens in-game as the match begins.

A downloadable demo for Sega's 'The Club' is due to arrive on Xbox Marketplace today and it’s going to be a staggered launch for all of the Xbox Live regions. To our amazement, Europe and Australia will be the first regions on the release list and will be receiving the demo anytime now hopefully. 

The demo is set to feature:

• The Prison environment; a disused crumbling, tomb-like Federal Penitentiary, lying in a remote region of one of the less glamorous Rustbelt states.
  
• One playable character exclusive to the Xbox LIVE® Marketplace version of the demo (Renwick, a tough, no nonsense, NYPD Detective whose investigations brought him too close to The Club™).
  
• Single player modes ‘Sprint’ and ‘Time Attack’.
  
• Multiplayer split-screen.

It looks like we will be receiving a little compensation after all due to the the lack of performance encountered by Xbox Live members over the holiday period, Marc Whitten (Xbox Live Head honcho) writes as follows:-

While the service was not completely offline at any given time, we are disappointed in our performance. I would like to take this moment to thank you each and every one of you for your patience and understanding as our team has worked around the clock to return the service to a stable state.

At the same time we would like to offer a token of our appreciation to all of you in celebration of record success for the service. And as a thank you for your loyalty during this holiday period, we will be offering all of our Xbox LIVE members around the world access to a full Xbox LIVE Arcade game that will be available to download free of charge. In the coming weeks we will be sharing the specific details of this offer with you.
