We've seen in-game commercials, massive Halo 3 advertising campaigns, but this is the first time a major vehicle manufacturer has advertised its product on the Xbox 360 with the aid of a specially designed game. “Yaris” is a quick, fast and easy-to-learn game that puts players behind the wheel of a customizable Toyota Yaris to destroy enemies, avoid obstacles, and finish the course before it finishes them. Players will enjoy customization options and an arsenal of weapons while they attack enemies and advance to the next level. “Yaris” features online multiplayer over Xbox LIVE, allowing gamers to challenge each other for the best time and score.
Keep in mind that although the game's for free, only Xbox Live users from the USA and Canada can download & play it, unless of course you happen to have a US account and a desire for 200 free achievement points? | | This item includes 3 comments |

What the hell are you playing? That's the message I keep getting over Xbox Live. Usually this will be accompanied by an invite to play a certain other game that has recently appeared by the name of Halo 3. Yes folks, in the week that the world finished the fight THQ released Conan into the video game world and I've been delving through the Hyborian world with Conan the Cimmerian and his trusty swords. | | This item includes 5 comments |

Just in case you’ve missed the hype-train a little known game by the name of Halo 3 will finally make it onto game store shelves this Wednesday, September 26th. Billed as the biggest video game launch ever Microsoft is hoping to hit sales of $300 million by the close of business on day one. Bungie studios were given complete free reign to develop and test the game until they decided it was ready for release in an attempt to bring the perfect experience straight out of the box. Will they succeed? With the amount of hype surrounding this launch it’s hard to see how they could fail, certainly not in monetary terms at any rate. Now I’ll get it out there straight off that I’m no big Halo fan boy, I couldn’t find my Arbiter from my elbow when it comes to the plot lines and in fact I’ve never really played more than ten minutes of the first two games. The question is, will I buy into the hype?
