Call of Duty 4

Word is in from Fourzerotwo about how you can jump on the BETA for COD4 MW. You'll need to send in an email with the answer to three questions and then sit back with fingers crossed. In case you are entirely hopeless we've got the full detail and yes - the answers, after the jump.

"Alright guys, so here’s the deal. The Friends and Family portion of the beta has been going great, and we’re ready to let in the early first wave of CharlieOscarDelta members to help us start testing it out further. Since this is earlier than expected we’re going to do a special First Wave Beta Lotto to determine who will get an early chance at the Beta, don’t worry though, there are going to be many more waves of people let in after this. We decided to do email lotto so that it’s completely fair to all who enter."

After already announcing Xbox 360 price cuts in North America and Australia, Microsoft has finally announced that the UK is getting a reduction too. As from Friday August 24, the Premium pack will be knocked down by 30 notes to 249.99 GBP and the Core console will cost 179.99 GBP - a saving of 20 quid. Alongside the reductions, Microsoft also revealed that the Elite, which launches this Friday and comes with a 120GB hard drive and HDMI port, is set to cost 299.99 GBP. Although, if you just want to pick up the larger 120GB hard drive on its own, you can expect to pay 129.99 GBP. Rumours also abound that from Friday the HDMI equipped Xbox 360 Premiums are due to hit UK shelves but as yet this remains unconfirmed.

Stephen McGill, head of gaming & entertainment, Xbox UK said: "We're pleased to be able to offer Xbox 360 at a new, lower estimated retail price. Moh

Ready those chutes boys, it looks like we will be be dropping on Marketplace next Thursday, August 23rd to assault a demo for EA's upcoming WW2 FPS Medal of Honor Airborne! Ads are appearing across the interweb giving next Thursday a big green for go on the Demo Mission: Operation Husky

A joint allied operation into the island of Sicily, Operation Husky follows Boyd Travers and the 82nd Airborne on their first combat jump on July 11, 1943. After securing and sabotaging four anti-aircraft guns, Boyd is sent to rendezvous with a group of Airborne paratroopers at the edge of the village. Here, they run into the German Heer army, who is attempting to recapture the village from the Airborne. Boyd must push to the end of this small hamlet, eliminating Germans along the way, then find a sniper rifle and eliminate the German commander. He’s successful, but not before the commander has successfully called in reinforcements. In the MOHA SP Demo, you'll be stepping into the boots of Boyd Travers as he leaps into Operation Husky to dismantle the village's anti-aircraft defense network. See you on the ground!
