A fleeting glimpse of the upcoming remake of that ZX Spectrum classic Jetpac currently being completed by RARE. I remember many moons ago listening to those whining and bleeping noises emanate from my tape deck as the interminable twenty minutes passed by loading this into my ZX Spectrum 48k. I wonder if time will have been kind to this much played title? RARE have reproduced both the original version and a new luxury Xbox 360 version so either way if nostalgia doen't win it perhaps the new graphics will? | | This item includes 2 comments |

With the PSP and PS2 versions of SBK: Superbike World Championship still on schedule for their end of April release, Eurogamer has reported that the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game will be available in October.
Black Bean Games spokesperson Livio Cantagallo told Eurogamer, however, that the demo will be ready "near the end of the summer." At least fans will get something to pass the time with while they're waiting for the official releases. There has also been no confirmation yet regarding the rumored PS3 version. According to Cantagallo, "We are going to think about a PS3 version, because we are just moving onto the next-generation consoles, starting with the Xbox 360 as it's similar to the PC." The game, created by Italian developer Milestone, will feature TV-like authenticity when replicating racers, tracks, bikes, multiplayer support is expected in the PC and 360 versions, and will feature Quick Race, Race Weekend, Championship and Challenge modes to keep you entertained. | | No comments for this item |

 Are you ready to take on the Gears of War developers? Epic Games staff will be hitting Gears of War on Xbox Live this weekend for some chainsaw action. The battles will take place on the Old Bones and Raven Down maps, both available now for free download on Xbox Live Marketplace. Gamers who want to take part just have to add any of the GamerTags below to their Friends List (please note that Cliffy B and Mark Rein will be playing in most games), get on Xbox Live between 1900 and 2100 GMT on Saturday 24 February, then wait for the invitation to play the developers of Gears of War!

 Tetris is coming to the Xbox 360 this March, THQ announced today. Tetris Evolution will include the traditional format of the puzzle game as well as several new modes including 'Go Low' and 'Eraser' for both single and multi play. All multiplayer modes will support both standard four player gaming, and online play via Xbox Live. "The Tetris series has been entertaining people of all ages for 20 years and has delivered unprecedented appeal and longevity in gaming," said Kelly Flock, executive vice president of worldwide publishing, THQ.
