Infinity Ward revealed the first details of their next offering in the Call of Duty franchise 'Modern Warfare' over the weekend. Coming as no real surprise after the rumours that the next installment would be taking things to a modern battlefield setting. We've got the trailer online for you to view along with some stills from the video. So far we can see the expected desert setting, helicopters, jets, RPG wielding terrorists(?) and possible execution scenes. The eagle-eyed amongst you may also recognise the face of the man in the helicopter donning his SAS style black gear, that unmistakable moustache and craggy features just seem to be COD 2's Cpt. Price who led you through the battlefields of WWII. Has he been on cryogenic standby these last 60 years? For up to date information keep an eye on the new website: www.charlieoscardelta.com but first check out the all important video and screenshots!
We're led to believe Infinity Ward will be aiming for a November release to coincide with the 1st anniversary of COD 3's release. At least this time we might just get a decent game after Treyarch's dismal last attempt? Fingers crossed.
Im hoping for all the goodness (and lobby system) from CoD2, just slightly prettier .. What news of MP? they going to skip MP achievements again? (fingers crossed) 50000 v 50000 online or what?
